review: Lolita in Tokyo Wonderland book

This is the latest book from the Tokyo Lolita Club.
I discovered it and decided to buy it asa preparation for my next trip in September.

Inside the book four famous models from japan are featured:
Sayaka Kanda
Midori Fukazawa
Misako Aoki
Yura
they are wearing the latest dresses from every brand they are introducing.
It is not just a shopping book.
It also contains cafes or great places to go on Tokyo even galleries and museums.

Every bigger brand/cafe/ great place to go has one page with pictures, a small description (sadly in japanese)as well as one or more adresses of locations( this is in english).


I ordered this from cdjapan.co.jp and it was pretty cheap with SAL delivery.
It is the cheapest and also the slowest option and so it took about two and a half week to arrive.
CD japan has an all english homepage and offers all books or mooks direct from japan.

The book was wrapped in bubblefoil to protect it from scratches.

This is the front.
It has a golden print around the title and high gloss print.

You can remoce the outer cover when you want to read it.
Then you have an only green book but inside it is really colorful.

At the end of the book there is also a little hand drawn map of Harajuku attached.

I really enjoyed this but a map of Shinjuku and Shibuya as well would be really great.

sadly only the adresses are in english. The small stories behind and the outfit of the models or the laces they are introducing are in japanese.
It got 4 points because it contains a lot of tipps.


Thank you for writing the adresses in English. This is a first really great step for Lolitas from overseas.
I hope to have a full english version one day.
