Japan 2010: open air museum

 Now we were going to visit an open air museum of a village like it was 200 years ago.

 This mountain was covered with concrete to prevent a movement of the ground.
Not beautiful and rain can not seep away.

Sadly I had activated the date stamp in my camera and so I have this ugly red writing in my pictures.

I hope you can feel the atmosphere there.

 Green eggs were offered in a store.

 The roofs were covered like it was in earlier times and everything is made from wood.

 It was a bit cold there so a last tree was blooming.

 Inside one of the houses. You can see a table with holes for the legs.

 Poor turtle. I think that it need a lot more space and deeper water.

 Inside a restaurant. We were late and so we only got a place on a tatami so we sat on the ground.

I had homemade soba with vegetable tempura.
It was really tasty.
